A few weeks ago, IAP-Air Products loaded up the truck and hit the road again for a trip to Mississippi. Our mission: to install a full lineup of our IAP Weld Shell welding booths and our signature fume extraction arms at a fantastic new trade school. This wasn't just another installation; it was about transforming a workspace into a truly safe and state-of-the-art learning environment.

When we first arrived, it was clear why the school had called us. We walked into a room where students were doing their best to practice their craft, but the air quality was a major concern. They were working in a very polluted air environment, a serious health hazard for anyone, especially new welders spending hours under the hood. It was a perfect reminder of the problem we solve every day.

We wasted no time getting to work. The whole point of our Weld Shell weld booth design is to make installation straightforward, even for a setup this large. The rugged, heavy-duty steel construction is built for the long haul, but it’s engineered to go together fast and simple. Our install team efficiently assembled our products. We laid out the shared-panel configuration, which is a big win for schools because it saves them space and majorly cuts down on cost.
